" Yup, add this to the list of cheesy reality TV that I cannot get enough of. My motivation to go the gym definitely comes in waves, primarily because I don't work hard enough to find time to get sweaty. Before work? Lunch break? After dinner? We are all busy gals, so there's simply not enough time to get ready twice in one day, I'll say. But these are just my excuses people!
I've been trying to leave gym clothes, shower shoes and a little bit of makeup in my car, so I have
no excuse not to go - even if I can only squeeze in 30 minutes. Breaking down those excuses one step at a time. How do you motivate yourself to stay healthy?
Sweat = success.
Motivation and I are not friends, so I finally caved and put my exercise machine IN my living room right in front of the tv - it really helps! It's hard to make excuses when the treadmill is staring you down!

DeleteLove this! I made myself a calender for Feb and wrote down exactly what I want to do on each day workout-wise and hung it on the bulletin board in my room where I will see it every day. NO EXCUSES!

DeleteI like to get up and work out first thing in the morning, even if it means I'm up at 6 to run before my 9am class. It's a great start to the day :) Also, I totally agree that looking cute at the gym is overrated and I love the pic!
ReplyDeleteI feel you chicka, I totallllly have the problem of making up excuses of why I can't get to the gym. I make a constant effort to go realllly early or reallllly late, and I just tell myself INAO= its.not.an.option. to not go!! THanks for commenting on my blog! Following :)
